From the initial company induction, working in a safe manner is installed in all employees irrespective of cost, with Health and Safety being the top priority in the work processes.
All groundworks operatives are certified under the CSCS scheme, and all plant operators are certified under the CPCS scheme. Our Site Supervisors and Managers are SSSTS and SMSTS accredited.
At our head office we have our own training centre where we regularly hold CITB accredited training. The CITB have recognised MDS Civil Engineering Ltd’s commitment to the professional development of its staff by issuing the platinum award.
MDS Civil Engineering Ltd have their own in-house Health and Safety Advisor who continually reviews the company’s processes and procedures to ensure we stay ahead of changing legislation.
Advanced Safety Consultants carry out regular audits on our live sites and reports acted upon.
Our mission at MDS is to provide high quality work in the safest possible manner. We ensure the resources are provided to achieve “Best Practice” as a minimum, but where possible we go above and beyond to meet the ethos of the MDS Civil Engineering Ltd Health and Safety Policy.
